Natural Supplement for Erectile Dysfunction Recalled

Liviro3, a natural health food supplement has boasted many claims, among them; enhanced sexual performance and increased energy. Now the supplement is being taken off of the market by the FDA. As it turns out, this 'natural' supplement contained a very potent, prescription medication used for erectile dysfunction called tadalafil (Cialis). Since it contained a prescription ingredient but was being marketed as a natural supplement, it was ordered to be taken off of the market by the FDA.

Many of the supplements being marketed as natural supplements for erectile dysfunction contain chemicals that are very similar to potent prescription drugs. This is dangerous because when taken with certain other medications, life-threatening drug interactions can occur. For example, men who are taking nitrate products like nitroglycerin, Nitro-bid®, or Nitro-dur®, with one of these natural supplements, may experience serious side effects such as severely low blood pressure, rapid heart beat and death. You see, this combination of ingredients can cause your blood vessels to open up or dilate excessively. This can cause a life-threatening drop in blood pressure.

If you are currently taking Liviro3 or any other natural supplement that claims to help with erectile dysfunction, stop taking it and seek the advice of your doctor or pharmacist right away.
