The rapidly evolving situation created by COVID-19 has provided many challenges in healthcare and the health coaching industry is no exception. However, because we are accustomed to providing for many of our clients remotely, we feel that the situation has had little impact on our practice. Still, we will be making a slight change in that until further notice, we will be performing all of our one-on-one coaching remotely utilizing phone and/or telehealth software. Please rest assured that our clients will still receive top notch guidance from our extraordinary coaches.

I do want to mention that we at Empowered Medicine are especially troubled by the link suggesting that people with type 2 diabetes are more likely to contract COVID-19. This has only heightened our sense of urgency, moving us to try to reach as many people living with type 2 diabetes as we can. It is our mission to help as many of these people as we can, in hopes that it will significantly decrease their risk of contracting COVID-19.

As always, we will also be here to help our clients without diabetes, who have sought our help for other reasons like weight loss, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, anxiety, health optimization…etc.
